Editorial Policy

How we create and maintain StudyBAP content

StudyBAP is committed to publishing accurate, original, and instructionally useful mathematics resources. This page explains our standards for content creation, review, and editorial independence.

1. Editorial Mission

StudyBAP provides clear, accurate, and original educational resources for mathematics and related STEM subjects. Our goal is to help students build genuine understanding — not just memorize procedures — through well-structured lessons, worked examples, guided practice, and downloadable materials.

2. Content Creation

Lessons, worked examples, guided practice problems, quizzes, workbooks, and answer keys are created specifically for StudyBAP. Content is designed for instructional use and student learning, and is intended to be:

  • Clear and accessible to the intended grade level
  • Age-appropriate in language and presentation
  • Aligned with commonly used curriculum standards where applicable, including standards typically covered in high school Algebra 1, Geometry, Precalculus, and AP Calculus courses

3. Accuracy and Review

Content is reviewed for mathematical accuracy, clarity, consistency, and instructional usefulness before publication. Specifically:

  • Calculations, worked examples, solutions, and answer keys are checked for correctness
  • Explanations are reviewed for clarity and instructional appropriateness
  • Published material may be updated when errors, unclear explanations, or curriculum changes are identified

4. Originality

StudyBAP aims to publish original instructional explanations, examples, practice materials, and downloadable resources. Third-party sources are referenced or credited when appropriate. StudyBAP does not intentionally reproduce copyrighted educational materials without permission.

5. Use of Technology and AI

Technology and AI tools may assist with drafting, formatting, proofreading, organization, or technical production of content. However:

  • Educational accuracy and final publication decisions remain subject to human review
  • AI-generated output is not published without review for mathematical accuracy and instructional quality

6. Corrections and Updates

Errors are corrected when discovered. Lessons may be revised to improve clarity, accuracy, accessibility, or alignment with instructional needs. If you believe you have found an error in a lesson, worked example, or answer key, please let us know through the Contact page.

7. Advertising and Editorial Independence

StudyBAP may display advertising, including through Google AdSense, to support the cost of maintaining free educational resources. Advertising does not determine lesson content, worked examples, recommendations, or educational conclusions. Editorial decisions — including what topics are covered, how they are explained, and what materials are published — are made independently of advertisers.

8. Author and Responsibility

StudyBAP is created and maintained by Sang Lee, a mathematics educator whose background and mission are described on the About page. Sang Lee is responsible for the educational content, editorial standards, and publication decisions on this site. For feedback, corrections, or questions, use the Contact page.
